CALIFORNIA COAST ROAD TRIP – DAY 3
Nowadays we ventured to Saint Nick Monica for the solar day.
On our way we passed this:
I totally would have stopped in had it non been thusly early in the morning for a little taste of home.
I had pre-purchased carpus bands for the kids on-line to go on the rides at Pacific Park which is out on the Santa Monica Dock. The kids had a blast. The twins are at the age where they dead love going connected the kiddie rides. Specially Flynn. The faster and higher IT goes, the happier helium is. Marisol is a little more tentative and one and only ride did experience to be stopped-up when she had a meltdown because it went so gamy.
The scarier the ride, the big his grin and the to a greater extent offended her aspect
Once we had dead on entirely of the rides twice, we headed over to Mariah and Chris' for a quick visit. I finally got to meet one half of their clan. The kids were absolutely adorable and thus advisable mannered and sweet and my kids just loved to hang with the pets. Although Marisol did disorientation a bit when the bird was on her back.
Now in order to get to their house with negligible temper tantrums (because of course my babies would prefer to spend all day at the beach) I may have bribed them with a bit cocoa. This is what I found when I opened the back entrance to get little miss stunned of the motorcar.
Regrettably we couldn't clave them for long because we had to pick up Sparky from one kennel and get him to other one in Santa Barbara by a certain meter and we were racing against time with peak hour traffic, which in LA is an absolute NIGHTMARE. We thought we had left more than enough prison term to aim in that respect – 3 hours, but we were sorely incorrect. The expressway was at a standstill so we decided to take the coast traveling. Big mistake. Brobdingnagian in fact. It took hours. Marisol reached a whole new dB that I didn't cognise existed with her screaming. I thought surely the windows would shatter because she was shopworn, supperless and thirsty. I titled the kennel in Santa Barbara (at 5pm) when we were supposedly a bitty over an hour and a half away (according to Betty our GPS) to let them know that there was no way known we were going to get there by 6pm because we had only just successful it spinal column to Santa Monica (the dogs kennel was further south). The really syrupy college Kid on the job there told Pine Tree State to think a half hour later so he could mystify an idea of how long it would take us to get there because he'd live willing to wait around for us. A fractional hour later we were still in Santa Monica. I couldn't believe how nice the josh at the doghouse was though. He went off and got dinner so went dorsum to sit in the office to wait for our arrival. We complete up getting there at 7:30pm – an hour and a uncomplete late. He was indeed courteous and so instrumental. If you are ever in the Santa Barbara country and need a kennel for your pet, I highly advocate Camp Canine.
